Blackjack session tracking separates the financial result of a table visit from individual hands. A session log helps you remember what you bought in for, how much you cashed out and how long you played, without reconstructing every hand.
What to enter after cashing out
Record Blackjack as the game, plus the date, location, currency, duration, total buy-in and final cash-out. If you add chips during play, include that reload in the buy-in. Optional notes can describe table limits, payout rules or side bets you want to remember.
Example: a reload changes the calculation
Consider an illustrative 90-minute session. You buy in for 200, later add 100 and redeem 350. Total buy-in is 300 and net profit is 50. Leaving out the reload would overstate profit by 100.
Include side bets in the actual totals
If side bets were paid from the same chips, their effect is already part of the cash-out. Notes can preserve what you played, but a session total cannot separate the result of each side bet or hand. Do not subtract the same spending twice.
Review the combined result
Suppose three recorded visits finish at +50, −80 and +40 in one currency. Their total is +10. Looking only at the two winning visits would show +90 and omit most of the picture.
Use the Blackjack filter in your session history and dashboard to review a chosen period. Compare total profit/loss, time played and individual records. Keep currencies separate and check incomplete records before interpreting a chart.
Use notes without treating them as predictions
Table rules and limits provide context for your records. They do not let a session tracker measure your skill, validate a card-counting system or establish an advantage from a few visits. FromFish does not count cards, recommend bets or analyse every hand.
Build a repeatable habit
- Note every buy-in during the visit.
- Check the final redeemed amount when you leave.
- Save the session while the details are fresh.
- Review all visits together, including losses.
